When Simmons approached the dog, she noticed he was scratching at his feet and nose, signs of neglect from spending too much time outdoors without proper care. Despite his rough state, the puppy still radiated warmth and affection.

Today, Murphy, as the puppy is now named, is thriving. He revels in cozy blankets, enjoys car rides, walks, and sunbathing.
