Woman Sets Up In-House Camera To Spy On Dog. What Happens?

Have you ever wondered what your dog does when you’re not home? I usually bring my dogs everywhere, but sometimes they have to stay behind and hold down the fort. I’d never thought about getting a camera for inside the house; the one outside watching the entrances seemed sufficient. Still, I can’t help but wonder what my dogs would be up to.

A woman in Durham, North Carolina, decided to use a camera to watch her dog, Sundae, while she was out. What Sundae, a 10-year-old Labrador, did when her mom left shocked everyone, especially those on social media.  Sundae’s mom often returned home to find her Labrador surrounded by her belongings—socks, chapsticks, shoes, shirts—anything that smelled like her. “Whenever I left, even for a short time, I’d come back to find her with my things in her bed. Not long after installing the camera, Sundae’s mom needed to run some errands, providing the perfect opportunity to test it. The modern camera sends notifications to her phone when it detects movement, so she turned on the live feed as soon as she got the alert. What was Sundae up to? Was she making a mess or scratching at the door? You’d be surprised. Instead of causing chaos, this sweet Lab girl appeared heartbroken. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

“Every time she repositioned by the door, I got a notification. My heart broke; I was tearing up in the grocery store watching her wait for me,” Sundae’s mom said. Luckily, dog-friendly stores like Hobby Lobby and T.J.Maxx allowed Sundae to accompany her.

The video of Sundae waiting by the door went viral on TikTok, amassing over 2 million views. But that’s not all—Sundae is also known for her impressive wardrobe and adorable costumes. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

The fashion journey began when Sundae developed a rash after being bitten by ants. Her mom needed a way to prevent her from licking the ointment applied to the rash, so she creatively turned a pair of sweatpants into a makeshift outfit. Sundae loved it, and soon her wardrobe expanded to include sunglasses, jewelry, and even wigs.
