Hopeless Man Leaves His Pit Bull Tied To Neighbor’s Tree With Heartbreaking Note Next To Him

These are challenging times, and many people are facing tough decisions. Sadly, some of those decisions negatively impact our beloved pets, leading to more dogs being left at shelters or abandoned on the streets. Shelters everywhere are filling up with pets that have been given up or left behind. While this reflects the overall uncertainty we’re experiencing, a significant factor is that many people are losing their jobs or fearing they might.

A man from Orlando, Florida, found himself in dire financial straits and reached a point where he could no longer provide for his beloved pit bull, Lincoln. Feeling desperate, he tied Lincoln to his neighbor’s tree in the middle of the night, leaving a note pleading for help: CONTINUE BELOW

“I am leaving for California to be with my mother and brother during this pandemic. Please take care of Lincoln or find him a good home. I trust you with my baby. I’m sorry.”

Fortunately, a local rescue organization, The Pittie Party of Central Florida (TPPCF), came to the rescue. A volunteer named Mayson Jones took Lincoln home, showering him with love and attention. Despite missing his owner, Lincoln still had a wag in his tail and a playful spirit. CONTINUE BELOW

A woman named Melanie Anderson felt compassion for Lincoln and decided to care for him until he finds a permanent home. He now enjoys boat rides and sunny naps with his foster family.

TPPCF, along with other rescue organizations, is seeking assistance. They are looking for foster families to welcome homeless dogs into their homes and hearts.
