Abandoned Chihuahua Living In A Shelter Wouldn’t Stop Crying At Night Until She Met Her New Special Person

Abandoned dogs and overcrowded shelters have increasingly become prominent topics in the media. Despite ongoing warnings from experts and animal advocates about this growing issue, many people seem unresponsive.

One such case involves the owner of a one-year-old dog who abruptly decided she no longer wanted her pet. One day, she left her dog at a high-kill shelter without even saying goodbye. The poor pup was left heartbroken and crying in an unfamiliar environment. This little Chihuahua, with her beautiful white fur, was so confused by her new situation that she couldn’t move from the spot where she was placed. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

Volunteers at the Carson Animal Shelter noticed her sadness. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much they could do immediately. However, they dressed her in a pink sweater to provide some comfort, though even that couldn’t alleviate her distress; she went to bed crying every night.

With the shelter being overcrowded, her situation became urgent, as she faced the threat of euthanasia. In response, one of the volunteers had the idea to record a video of the crying dog to evoke an emotional response from the public. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

The video succeeded in melting hearts and quickly went viral on the shelter’s official Facebook page.

Soon after, a woman saw the post and contacted a friend who was looking to adopt a dog. Once her friend watched the video, she knew without hesitation that she had to bring the little Chihuahua to her warm home, effectively saving her life. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

Now, the Chihuahua happily resides in Missouri with loving owners who cherish her. After everything she endured, this little one truly deserves a lifetime of happiness.
