I was at a large grocery store, standing at the checkout counter while my groceries were being scanned. Suddenly, a girl around six years old darted in, snatched a chocolate bar that had already been rung up, and took off.
I noticed just in time and asked the cashier to cancel the chocolate.
She then asked if the girl was my granddaughter. I replied that I had no idea who she was and reiterated my request to cancel the chocolate.
