Tinker recently faced that heartbreak when her owners surrendered her to a shelter in Florida. Realizing she was alone within the confines of a kennel, she shut down completely, losing all hope. Dali, an animal rescuer known for sharing poignant dog stories on her TikTok account, captured Tinker’s plight in a video that moved many viewers to tears. Having lost her beloved family, Tinker was left feeling utterly alone, with no hope of finding a new home. Despite this, Saving Sage Animal Rescue in Lauderhill, Florida, strives to make Tinker and other dogs feel as welcome as possible. Gradually, with tender care and the right approach, Tinker began to come out of her shell, revealing her true nature as a lovebug. “Tinker is a gentle spirit, a true couch potato who enjoys relaxing and short walks outside,” SSAR shared on Facebook.
