Robert Altermoser and his friend Neal were out one day when they noticed a stray dog nearby. Something about the dog’s behavior seemed unusual, urging them to follow it. The dog led them to an abandoned building, where they were shocked to discover numerous dogs chained up and left to fend for themselves.
Moved to take action, Robert felt an immediate responsibility to rescue these abandoned animals. After consulting local authorities, he obtained permission from the police to carry out a rescue mission. Equipped with bolt cutters, he returned to the building, determined to free each dog. Despite their ordeal of neglect and abuse, the dogs greeted Robert with unexpected friendliness. CONTINUE FOR VIDEO BELOW
One by one, he cut the chains, gently leading each dog to freedom. The puppies were taken to Neal’s home, where they could be cared for in a safe environment, while the older dogs found a haven at Everydaystray Rescue, a 10,000-square-meter property dedicated to their recovery.
Some of the dogs have already found new homes, while others continue to receive the care they need to heal fully. CONTINUE FOR VIDEO BELOW
