Rescuers Were Shocked To Learn That The Dog They Saved Also Has Puppies

Life is often harsh for stray dogs, who frequently face neglect or even abuse. Many end up living solitary lives, far from people, to avoid further harm. But sometimes, a compassionate person steps in, giving them a chance at a fresh start. For one stray named Wilma, that person was Selina. While out one day, Selina spotted Wilma wandering the streets, clearly malnourished and suffering from hair loss, likely due to a skin condition. Moved by the dog’s condition, Selina wanted to help. She approached Wilma cautiously, aware that the pup seemed wary and frightened of humans.

Wilma’s fear showed how little she trusted people, but when Selina offered her some food—a can of Pringles, the only thing she had at the time—the dog accepted it gratefully. Though Wilma kept her distance, Selina’s act of kindness seemed to soften her wariness a bit. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

After Wilma repeatedly ran off, Selina enlisted her boyfriend to help. They returned with more food, patiently tossing it closer to the dog to earn her trust. Eventually, Selina managed to put a leash around Wilma’s neck, securing her safely. She and her boyfriend immediately took her to a veterinary clinic for a full checkup.

The examination revealed surprising news: Wilma had recently given birth. Realizing there might be puppies out there alone, Selina quickly went back to search. After a long and difficult search, she found three tiny puppies hiding beneath some ruins. She carefully placed them in a small bag and rushed them back to the vet on her scooter. WATCH VIDEO BELOW

The vets treated Wilma and her puppies, helping them regain their strength. Once they were healthy enough, the family was reunited. Unfortunately, one of the puppies later passed away despite the veterinarians’ efforts. Although it was a heartbreaking loss, Selina and the clinic staff focused on supporting the surviving puppies and their mother.

With proper care, Wilma made an incredible recovery. Her coat grew back, and she regained her health and confidence. Her two remaining puppies thrived at the clinic, and the little family was eventually transferred to a dog hotel, where they now await adoption. Selina is determined to ensure that Wilma and her puppies find loving homes, where they will be cared for and appreciated.
