According to huge report from Fox News Channel, current special counsel Jack Smith, the one who has launched a lawfare crusade against former President Donald Trump and so far been stymied in bringing those cases to trial, will lose his position and have his cases dropped before Inauguration Day.

Charlie Kirk, the podcaster and Turning Point USA personality who has been a consistent ally of President-Elect Trump’s, posted about the matter on X (formerly Twitter), saying that the prosecution attempts of Jack Smith against Trump are now over, and that he will be booted from his post before Trump is sworn in as president. CONTINUE ARTICLE BELOW

 

 

At issue with the Department of Justice is that it cannot prosecute a sitting president, something that it apparently acknowledged, presumably begrudgingly.

As a result, it needs to end special counsel Smith’s attempts to prosecute former President Trump, as he will be the sitting president before long. CONTINUE BELOW
