Every so often, a dog’s story comes along that breaks my heart. It’s natural to feel saddened by such stories, but what should never be acceptable is the level of abuse and neglect so many dogs endure.
Dogs, our most loyal companions for thousands of years, deserve so much more than the cruelty some inflict upon them. It’s horrifying to witness the suffering some people are capable of causing. Malala’s story is a stark example of this cruelty.
