Fortunately, there are still people with big hearts who give us hope for better days. One such story involves Gandalf, a 14-year-old blind Siberian Husky left at Downey Animal Care Center in South Gate, California.
Due to his age, blindness, obesity, and other health issues, Gandalf was placed on the euthanasia list with a 72-hour deadline. FurryTail Endings, a rescue organization in Los Angeles, stepped in, posting a video on Instagram to seek help. CONTINUE BELOW
Within a day, FurryTail Endings found a foster home for Gandalf and raised funds to cover his rescue costs. Despite his many hardships—being overweight, having a lump on his arm, and experiencing pain—Gandalf remained resilient.
Though he was uncomfortable when touched and fearful of people, particularly women, his spirit was undampened, and he greeted life with a constant smile. CONTINUE BELOW
