Without his beloved mom by his side, this little puppy felt lonely and lost as he wandered the uncertain streets. When heavy rain began to pour, he dashed along a sidewalk next to a busy road, desperately searching for shelter. A kind woman on a bike, on her way to pick up her kids from school, noticed the frightened puppy. Worried he might get hit by a car, she stopped and called out to him.
The puppy, grateful for the attention, ran straight to her, throwing himself at her feet and looking up with tear-filled eyes, pleading for help. The woman scooped him up and placed him in her bike basket. But the little pup, still scared, began to cry, not fully understanding that he was safe now. After picking up her kids, she brought the puppy, later named Laifu, home and fed him. He eagerly devoured the food, clearly starving from his time on the streets. Once his belly was full, Laifu fell into a deep sleep, utterly exhausted. After a while, his rescuer woke him up, giving him a bath and carefully removing ticks from his fur. The next morning, she took Laifu back to the spot where she found him, hoping to locate his owners. The puppy looked forlorn, as if he sensed that no one was coming for him.
After waiting for a long time with no one appearing, the woman decided to take Laifu back home. She chose to foster him until she could find him a permanent family. In no time, Laifu adjusted to life with his foster mom, who provided him with nutritious meals and plenty of love. He finally felt secure. Thirty days after being rescued, Laifu found his forever family. Although excited for this new chapter, he felt a twinge of sadness saying goodbye to his foster mom, grateful for the second chance she had given him. Once settled in with his new owner, Laifu realized he had found his true home. His dad showered him with the love he had always craved.
