Mert could tell the pup needed extra care and affection after being left behind by his previous owners. Luckily, Mert is an animal lover and a devoted rescuer who spends his free time helping animals in need. This meant the abandoned pup couldn’t have found a better person to care for him. “I initially thought I’d find him a new home,” Mert said. “I introduced him to my family and other pets. He was so well-behaved and made friends with everyone right away. In the end, I couldn’t bring myself to give him away.” Mert named the dog Jean P, and from that day forward, he gave him a new life.
