The rescuer took her home and named her Aurora. She provided food, water, and a warm blanket for the puppy to curl up in and rest. After a bath, Aurora was settled into a cozy bed with her new blanket. The next day, she was taken to the veterinarian for a checkup. Though it took some time, the results were reassuring—she was dewormed, and the vets recommended additional remedies to improve her health.
Aurora would need antibiotics, body cream, and vitamins for her immunity, along with a proper diet. Thankfully, none of her issues were serious, and with medication and time, she was on the path to recovery. Subsequent vet visits showed slow but steady progress. On her third visit, she received vaccinations, and her weight was improving. With each passing day, Aurora’s mood brightened, and she became quite playful. Her rescuer made sure she enjoyed walks and even met new friends along the way.
As time flew by, Aurora thrived with her rescuer. However, it soon became time to find her a new home. This was the hardest part, as rescuers form strong bonds with the animals they save. But her rescuer knew Aurora would be better off with someone else, so she found her a wonderful family.
