This saying has never been more accurate than in the case of Adahn Clarke and her family. When Adahn, her partner Chris, their daughter, and their dog Murphy arrived at the campsite, their only agenda was to relax and enjoy some quality time away from the city rush. However, the puppyverse had other plans for them, and those plans turned out to be amazing!
Upon arrival, Adahn’s daughter made a wish—to have another dog. Surprised by her daughter’s request, Adahn didn’t know how to respond, especially since the family already had Murphy. But she would soon be convinced without even trying! WATCH VIDEO BELOW
As soon as they set up camp, the family was greeted by an unexpected visitor—a pup! She casually appeared in front of their trailer, the friendliest little girl, and decided to stay. For the next few days, Sunny made herself comfortable, sleeping everywhere: under the trailer, on the mat outside, and on the picnic table. She quickly befriended Murphy, who embraced her immediately.
Sunny’s origins were unknown, but with her sweet demeanor, the family assumed she must have owners. Just as they were preparing to look for them, another surprise unfolded that night! Around midnight, while Adahn and Chris were hanging out by the fire, Sunny began barking loudly and ran under a trailer, as if trying to point something out. It was love at first sight. The family instantly fell for this new addition, and the pup seemed just as happy to be there. Adahn couldn’t hide her confusion about how these two pups found their way to them. “I need to know how the puppy distribution system works,” she joked in a TikTok post.
The next day, they searched for Sunny and the new puppy’s owners. Eventually, they discovered the dogs’ origins but decided to take them home to fulfill their daughter’s wish from the first day! Today, Murphy, Sunny, and Suzie are the best of friends. It took them only a few weeks to acclimate to each other completely, and now they are inseparable. Adahn’s daughter couldn’t be happier that her wish had come true—now she not only has two but three dogs! Sunny and Suzie underwent necessary vet appointments and are fully adjusting to life at home.
